This Time, It's For Real

I know, I know, I know, I've already swung and missed a few times on the whole "I'm gonna blog and it'll be great and you'll love it" thing. The only success I really had was on a great collaboration in Dah4Choafs.blogspot.com, if you're very loose with the definition of 'success.'

However, this time it's going to work. I'm coming into this thing with a bit of vision, or at least a focus that normally eludes me. You'll see some things about books and 'good writing,' a little on sports, a sprinkling of comedy and pop culture, all from a completely uninformed viewpoint. I might even talk about politics, because that seems to be the thing to do when you don't know anything. There will definitely be some short fiction, and hopefully some discussion of essential philosophy and semantics, because goddamnit I don't know what I'm good at yet so I'm just going to write it all!

Deep breaths.

There will be self deprecation. That's a given. Self-deception seems likely too. I hope you like the blog.
